Mixed Labor Day 2009

Mischief, in conjunction with the Bay Area Disc Association (BADA), announces the LABOR DAY MIXED TOURNAMENT 2009 in lovely San Francisco! We have moved from the Polo fields to the Brand New All Weather / Nike turf fields at the Crocker Amazon Soccer Complex. Like our previous years, there will be two divisions: Elite (7/8 teams) and Regular (13-16 teams).

Bid deadline is 8/15.

Please write your team name on the "memo" line or somewhere visible! Receipt of your check will count as confirmation, and bids will be awarded based on order of checks received.

Sanctioning

This is a UPA sanctioned event so get your memberships up to date and please make sure your roster is current. http://www.upa.org/outreach/rosteringguide. All players must also sign the Bay Area Disc Association release.

If you have players who are not on your roster or not UPA membersthey will have to turn in a waiver at the tourney and pay the UPA $10 for insurance for the entire event.

Transportation

The Bay Bridge will be closed Labor Day weekend. Please make alternate travel plans. Make sure you give yourself enough time to get to the fields!

Accomodations

The Mission Inn (1.1 miles from fields) is giving us a sizable discount. $79 for double per night instead of $130. Make sure when you call you say "Ultimate Frisbee" to get the discount.

The party will be held Saturday night at Thee Parkside 1600 17th Street in San Francisco.
